World Book Day Celebrations

To celebrate World Book Day and the final day of our Literacy Week celebrations for 2025, we hosted the annual Year 8 World Book Day Quiz which featured all Year 8 pupils dressed up as some of their favourite book characters. 

It was wonderful to see such great engagement during the quiz as pupils showcased their knowledge of books and love for reading.  A huge well done to everyone for their truly wonderful efforts with their World Book Day costumes, it is this level of enthusiasm which truly brought the books to life throughout our school corridors today!

Highly Commended Costumes: Olivia McCann who was 'Diary of a Whimpy Kid', Caoimhe Judge who was 'Kevin the Minion' and Serpil Fikri who was 'Little Red Riding Hood' in a homemade crocheted costume!
