Our under 20 pupils played in their long-awaited Ulster Development Shield Final, versus Sperrin Integrated College.
From the first whistle the pupils showed excellent determination to win possession and control the game, with superb scores from Eimer Cotter and Ciara McKernan up front to pull away from the Magherafelt side.
Any opportunity to concede was very quickly dealt with by the maroon back line consisting of Hannah Duffy, Niamh Larkin, and Isabella Farrell.
Sperrin College were tenacious and fought valiantly right until the final whistle with some excellent scores from play.
However, it was our captain and current Head Girl, Katie Havern who was awarded the player of the match for her pinpoint passes, excellent reading of the game, and overall leadership.
The pupils worked tirelessly as a team and secured a very comfortable win against the Magherafelt side.
A massive thank you to all at Ulster LGFA for organising, also to Coláiste Feriste for their facilities and lastly the many staff and pupils that supported the girls in this fantastic achievement. Well Done to all!
