St Mary's Launches Career Ready Programme

St Mary’s High School has been working closely with Tony Madden (Regional Co-Ordinator of Career Ready) to implement the education to industry mentoring programme which links education with business to help prepare young people for the world of work. We are delighted to have eight local business representatives from a range of industrial sectors willing to invest their time in this mentoring opportunity. Pictured is Mr Tony Madden with Miss O McCann (Community and Enterprise Co-Ordinator) and students; Lauren Gribben, Caoimhe McShane, Aine McEvoy, Jessica Goodman, Aoife Bailie, Ciarrai Lavery, Aoife Hollywood and Olivia Pentony. Also pictured are industry representatives and mentors Edwina Flynn (Best Property Service), Paul Shevlin (Bank of Ireland), Emma Turley (CRASH Services), Jonathon McKeown (JMK Solicitors), Maeve McParland (Newry and Mourne Enterprise Agency), Anne-Marie McGourty (Motis Accountancy). Absent from the photograph are Orlagh Johnston (ABP) and Sarah McKinley (Newry Reporter).
