1113’s Project With The Children’s Centre, QUB
Over the last two years, 1113 have been working on a project with the Children’s Centre at Queen’s University, Belfast. Today, we were delighted that Michelle Templeton joined us with an update on the project. Our pupils developed indicators to be used by governments to ensure they are keeping their promises set out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This document was then shared with over 1500 children and young people in 35 countries who gave their feedback on the work we had carried out. It was great to hear all the feedback and we look forward to attending a launch event for the final documents in the coming months.
