St Mary’s has been an Investors in People organisation since 2010. This award recognises the combined achievements of all staff in ensuring St Mary’s is a learning environment that is proactive in embracing change and responds positively to all initiatives and celebrates success.
The comprehensive report that supported the Health and Wellbeing Award recognises the culture in the school in which staff have a very strong sense of empowerment and responsibility for providing high standards of teaching, learning and support of every pupil. Praise was given for the wide range of health and wellbeing initiatives that take place within the school. As an Investors in People organisation St Mary’s has introduced many new developments in the school and in the wider community. These initiatives support the health and wellbeing of the entire school community and ensure that both students and staff receive every opportunity to reach their full potential.
