‘Dance For Africa’ Day

Pupils and staff enjoyed a wonderful day of music, dance and song to kick off St Patrick’s Day celebrations. Our 'Dance for Africa' Day included Irish dancing in the assembly hall under the guidance of the very talented Mrs Mallon, beautiful Irish traditional music from St Mary's Traditional Group and Miss Bartlett, then some of our staff brought festivities to a close. Many thanks to our Home Economics Department and SNAG Team who supplied a fantastic spread of cakes, fruit kebabs and smoothies. Thanks also to our PE Department for a fun morning of dodgeball in the gym. Well done to everyone involved. Special thanks to Helena Hughes from Irish Dancing4Fun for the Irish dancing costumes, Carmel McGrath and Ann McArdle for the Irish dancing wigs and the Bosco Drama Group for the loan of costumes and wigs.
